Train and educate employees as to ACPA & OSHA regulations

Operator training is a lifetime job; it never ends. Most, but not all, operators are sent out on their own with less than a full understanding of the total requirements and dangers of their new vocation. I am sure that given an open ended budget and an infinite amount of time all new operators would be fully trained prior to being required to being part of the ‘solution’. Many hard lessons are learned on the job, where, if they and the company are very lucky, they do not turn into a big expense. Helping these people know and understand the legal limits and requirements of their job will enhance company profits. An on the job explanation or demonstration for some nuance of the ACPA and OSHA rules usually results in a much better understanding of the need and benefit of them. I have trained no less than 100 operators in the safe, proper operation of concrete pumps.
